Target group: Grades 1-3, beginner level
Time: 40 minutes
Theme: Body perception and movement

Preparation:

  • Take out Eazymec plates and prepare a place for physical activity.

Things you need:

  • Eazymec plates in different colors and shapes.

Purpose:

Students will:

  • Learn about body movements using Eazymec plates.

  • Develop their body awareness and motor skills.

  • Practice cooperation and coordination.

Introduction (approx. 10 min):

Start by talking about body movements:

Start by asking students about different types of movements they usually do in everyday life or in physical education lessons:

  • What movements do we make when we run, jump or dance?

  • How does it feel in the body when we do these movements?

Give examples of some common body movements and link them to specific body parts:

  • How do our legs move when we run?

  • How do we move our arms when we balance?

Implementation (approx. 20 min):

  1. Grouping: Divide students into pairs or small groups.

  2. Create movements: Have each group choose a piece and create a movement that resembles the shape of the piece, such as jumping in a circle if the piece is round.

  3. Show the movements: Each group shows their movement to the rest of the class.

Conclusion (approx. 10 min):

Question:

  • Which movement was the most fun?

  • How did it feel to collaborate?

Curriculum connection:

Students train their body awareness and motor skills through simple movement exercises.
